Wow. This episode surprised and delighted me. Everyone in this episode brought their A-game. I was moved to smile, to laugh, and even got teary-eyed a few times. I’m going to try to remain spoiler-free, but you should go watch Episode 5 before you read this review. So what changed in this episode? Let’s dig in, shall we? 😁Continue reading “My Day the Series – Episode 6 [Review]”

We start out where we left off, with everyone excited to go on an outing. At the last minute, Ace and Sky realized they were about to leave their girlfriends behind. That would have made for an awkward conversation (albeit interesting). We were too excited to go on vacation together, so we forgot you guys. Oops, sorry. 😁Continue reading “My Day the Series – Episode 4 [Review]”
I had low expectations going into this third episode. I feared that I might be giving a lower review score than last week. I am happy to say that is not the case with this week’s episode of My Day. So I hope for all of you watching along with me that you were pleasantly surprised as well.Continue reading “My Day the Series – Episode 3 [Review]”
We start out where we left off, which is Ace falling into Sky’s arms as he slipped on a water bottle. It’s cheesy but cute, especially in the slow-motion shot with everyone’s features so slapstick. You can’t help but giggle. Of course, Ace gets hurt and has to be rushed to the clinic, the big baby. We can still see the tension between Sky and Ace as Ace blames Sky for his injury. The scene shifts to Ace’s house, revealing the stars of the second episode, Ace’s dogs.Continue reading “My Day the Series – Episode 2 [Review]”

They Say If You Dream A Thing More Than Once, It’s Sure To Become True
The showing of two distinct Filipino made Boys Love series had me wondering if they are patterned after a certain country’s perspective or style. However, both Gameboys and Sakristan are original Filipino series about boys falling for other boys. Whether gender has anything to do with it remains to be seen. Even after their premiere episodes, BL viewers have been asking questions.Continue reading “What is Pinoy BL? Featuring current and future series!”
Updated with Trailer and OST Combining the romance and drama of BL with sweets, delicacies and exotic places is a surefire combination that is hard to match.
