EN of Love – TOSSARA: Episode 1 [Review]

Anything worth having is worth waiting for. This phrase resonates well with the love story of Gun and Bar in the popular Boys Love series, EN of Love: TOSSARA. Despite the harsh competition in the Thai BL industry when the series aired, it was still able to capture many hearts with its simple and relatable story. Moreover, as the first installment of En of Love The Series, TOSSARA has successfully opened the door of popularity for the two follow-up series.

My Day: The Series (2020)

Combining the romance and drama of BL with sweets, delicacies and exotic places is a surefire combination that is hard to match. Prime Event Productions Philippines Foundation, Incorporated (PEPPS), joins forces with Oxin Films to produce My Day: The Series. Projected to run for 8-10 episodes, it’s all about an aggressive food business executive and his pastry intern amidst the restrictions of a pandemic.

Ingredients ส่วนผสมที่ลงตัว | (Episodes 1 – 2) [Review]

Jeff Satur and Gameplay Garnphapon had sensual chemistry in Warper TV’s mini-series He She It that set our screens on fire. However, their romance in Central Food TV’s new mini-series Ingredients is even more enviable. Ingredients is a BL themed romantic comedy that showcases the love of gourmet food, featuring our main leads Tops & Marwin.

After being postponed due to production delay caused by COVID-19 pandemic, This Is Love Story is finally on-air.

The final installment of En of Love The Series from Studio Wabi Sabi has been long awaited by its fans who have spent the past month busying themselves with life, to ease their longingness of the series. LGBT Movie “Athlete” Brings Gay Sex to Mainstream Cinema in Japan

GagaOOLala releases one of the few Japanese films trying to push for gay rights, while also giving us some eye candy

Athlete (Takamasa Oe, 2019) explicitly tackles gay issues such as coming out and sexual desire, something rare in the usual conservative queer Japanese films. These events take place through the relationship between a retired swimmer and a young webcam boy. The film is now available worldwide on the streaming service GagaOOLala.

YYY มันส์เว่อร์นะ – BL Sitcom Episode 6 [Review]

The episode finale of YYY BL sitcom is far from being the comedy it purports to be. In fact, it has become a substantial, and emotional drama acted with generosity and integrity. From the beginning, Lay Talay and Yoon Phusanu offer an on-screen chemistry that is hard to match. The development of their characters and how their relationship progresses is stellar – there is tension as well as anticipation. Poppy Ratchapong as Porpla – for the sheer brilliance of his performance – should be nominated for an award. This review is a joint effort with Jen’s BL Views and Reviews!

Let’s have the storyline first shall we?

The Sleuth of Ming Dynasty 明代侦探 | iQIYI (2020) (Ep. 41 – 48)

I admit that when I first started watching this show, it was specifically to judge the viable chemistry between the main lead characters Tang Fan and Sui Zhou. Of course, being dubbed as “Bromance” doesn’t leave much space for that. However, I’m certainly appreciative of how the show’s Producers daringly depicted their relationship. Let’s review Episodes 41 to 48 to learn more about the events transpiring in the Ming Dynasty.

Gameboys The Series – Episode 2 [Review]

Episode 2 comes after a revealing premier episode that saw BL watchers getting acquainted with this uniquely produced BL series. BL fans who complain about the ‘random’ announcement of episode changes should bear in mind that the restrictions in Manila have kept the production crew walking a fine line. Kudos to IdeaFirst Productions for finding the best way to shoot, edit, upload, and promote the series.
