“Caring” is a two-way street. If only one party keeps receiving and doesn’t give back, then the relationship would surely get weary sooner than later. Marwin has always been on the receiving end of the care extended by Tops. So, what happens when the tables turn and Tops is the one in need of TLC? Will Marwin live up to the challenge? Episodes 7 and 8 highlighted a different side of Tops and Marwin’s relationship, which was invariably pleasant and a total surprise to Mike, Marwin’s friend. Let’s review and enjoy the adorable moments sprinkled with a gourmet flair!

The Shipper – จิ้นนายกลายเป็นฉัน Episode 7 [Review]

Episode 6 saw Soda shipping herself with P’Kim. Khet realizes he likes P’Kim even though they are brothers. P’Way even dumped his girlfriend so he could pursue his love for P’Kim. All of this because Pan is still in P’Kim’s body. Determined to fix this mess by getting her body back, KimPan goes to her body. However, KimPan is confronted by Soda, who acts on her misguided feelings for P’Kim and tries for a kiss. This is KimPan’s breaking point, and they shout their truth. Soda freezes as the Angel of Death descends with her scythe toward KimPan’s throat. And now The Shipper finally moves into a new story arc, but does it sink or will it swim?

A Look Back: Red Wine in The Dark Night (2015) [Review]

BL feature films are literal chimera’s of the BL genre to fans. On the one hand, you have the Boys Love format we all know and love. But then there is the need to reach a much larger audience. For that, you have to create a larger scope of perspective, have more characters than normal, and a gripping story. Lastly, what makes a BL film either a success or a failure is the content. No longer bound by the inherent censorship of a television network, a BL film can get away with much more than a show can. This freedom from censorship allows more room to either grab the audience’s attention like in “The Blue Hour” or lose the audiences like in “Bittersweet Chocolate.” For Writer and Director Tanwarin Sukkhapisit’s feature film “Red Wine in The Dark Night,” the challenge of creating an arresting and interesting film was presented, accepted, and accomplished.

EN of Love – TOSSARA: Episode 4 Finale [Review]

Every story, even the one that we love so dearly, must eventually come to an end. And it’s about time to say goodbye to Gun and Bar as they conclude their love story in the final episode of TOSSARA. Previously, the doctor and the head hazer have come clean about their relationship by announcing their status as boyfriends to the whole university. With them being a couple and no further obstacles coming to their relationship, it seems that they have gotten their perfect ending already. Thus, I can’t help but ask: is it even necessary to add another episode to the series?

Well, let’s find out!

The Shipper – จิ้นนายกลายเป็นฉัน Episode 6 [Review]

At the end of Episode 5, we see Soda thanking God for showing her that her true love is P’Kim. Or Pan in P’Kim’s body and despite everything that happened in Episode 5, like KimPan telling Soda that Pan is right in front of her. She still doesn’t realize Pan is in P’Kim’s body. KimPan’s super loud “Errrrr” rings through the church as she drags our Angel of Death away somehow is also missed. Let’s leave logic here and start the review.

The Shipper – จิ้นนายกลายเป็นฉัน Episode 5 [Review]

Episode 4 found Pan realizing first impressions are not always accurate.  Finally, she learns that you can’t judge a boy off how he looks, no matter how cute. In Episode 5, we see what she does with this information; however, remember this is Pan, so of course, you won’t be able to predict it.

The Shipper – จิ้นนายกลายเป็นฉัน Episode 4 [Review]

Episode 4 of “The Shipper” doesn’t have big shoes to fill as Episode 3 was a mess of perceptions of sexual and gender roles and lifestyles. While Episode 3 pushed shock value. Episode 4 takes the gauntlet of a more serious show and carries it well. Here is my review of episode 4.

The Shipper – จิ้นนายกลายเป็นฉัน Episode 3 [Review]

Every BL show has that episode where we see what we think is going on and what is really happening. Most shows do it midseason, but “The Shipper” does its game-changer early on in 3 and 4. In Episode 2, we see KimPan make the declaration she is going to make her ship sail naively, so when the body switch is undone, Kim and Way will be together. Anyone with common sense can see the flaw in that logic, but as a selfish 16-year-old girl with no sense of consideration for other people, Pan doesn’t. What could go wrong? Let’s find out in Episode 3.

The Shipper – จิ้นนายกลายเป็นฉัน Episode 2 [Review]

The second episode of “The Shipper” GMMtv’s Friday BL series is back with the show right after Pan wakes up in the body of P’Kim. Queue massive amounts of insanity and funny, awkward moments as Episode 2 does what few BL’s do today by telling you about each character instead of showing it. Whether that’s a good or bad thing remains to be seen.

EN of Love – This is Love Story: Episode 2 [Review]

Following the success of the first episode, This Is Love Story aims to continue its domination in the current drought of Thai BL series. With longer airtime and more interaction between the main leads, the second episode is expected to become the cure for viewers’ longing good BL content. Will the strategy work?

Let’s see …
