Capture Lover | 冰糖陷阱 (Ep.7 to 10) [Review]

The Finale Episodes of the Chinese BL drama Capture Lover left a lot to be desired. Although the main leads got a convoluted “Happy Ending,” the penultimate episodes seemed rushed and haphazard. I’m least disappointed to say, but the actors’ have chemistry in spades, and that’s what keeps you hooked to this show, that was banned on the local shores for depicting same-sex relationships.

Adam’s Secret 2 – My Brother | Bímậtcủa Adam | Episodes 13 – 14 [Review]

We are finally looking forward to the finale episodes. The plot turns a little convoluted at this point. The ending was vague and left a lot to be desired. But at least none of the main characters die, so that’s a saving grace. I was truly disappointed with the show’s scriptwriters for giving Thien, a very abysmal ending. Let’s review and see what’s happening with our main characters.

Stage Of Love The Series – Giai đoạn của tình yêu: bộ – Episode 4 [Review]

FINALLY!!! Both the audiences and Bao get to know the mystery behind “The Accident” that turned Nguyen into a recluse. It wasn’t unexpected, but surely it explains his recurrent nightmares. Since Nguyen’s side of the storyline is now clearly spelled out, the show will probably focus on their mechanics of love. Without much further ado, let’s review the latest episode.

Prince’s Master (Masters Series #1) by Alessandra Hazard

Prince’s Master is a new spin-off to Alessandra Hazard’s popular “Calluvia’s Royalty” series. Set in an intergalactic universe that is not only far away from our solar system but also quite a bit more advanced, and Calluvia is split into the Seven Grand Clans. Calluvians are much more technologically advanced and also have superior mental abilities, including telekinesis. Each Clan is ruled by the firstborn child, irrespective of their gender. The best part is that they allow same-sex marriages, and children are given birth through genetic engineering. The worst part, however, is that they are telepaths, and as such, each royal heir is betrothed at a young age. When I say betrothed, it means that two individuals are mentally bond together, which augments their telekinetic powers.

Inside Affair (Prime Time #1) by Ella Frank [Review]

Gay Romance Novels have always been my guilty pleasure. But I’m picky when it comes to the authors, whose books I prefer reading. I wouldn’t just pick any old book off the rack. For me, the storyline has to be intriguing and make me forget the world around me. One such author is Ella Frank; her books are delectable and deliver you right into the middle of an alternate universe with lead characters that slowly become a part of your life. That’s what happened to me when I read the “Temptations” series and fell in love with “Logan & Tate.” Her “Confessions” got me borderline obsessed with the “Priest, Robbie & Julien” love triangle. ” So, I was an excited bundle of nerves when I heard about this new series, “Prime Time.” It was just later that I realized the main leads belong to the same universe, and they indeed rocked my world! Ella Frank’s novels are popular for the sensual chemistry between the lead characters. Although the main characters in this book are still in the process of understanding each other, they have chemistry in spades, which pretty much keeps you hooked. Without further ado, let’s review this book.

Adam’s Secret 2 – My Brother | Bímậtcủa Adam | Episodes 9 – 12 [Review]

Phong and Vu are finally together, but that doesn’t mean the end of the problems. Instead, our sweet couple is riddled with trust issues and an unwanted pregnancy. On the other hand, Thien is faced with an unacceptable alternate reality that he can’t comprehend. I’m enjoying the trope so far as the show keeps throwing unpredictable twists and turns. At least it’s better than the monotonous plot contrivances in the original Thai movie “My Bromance.” Let’s see what is happening with our main couple as they try to understand each other.

Capture Lover | 冰糖陷阱 (Ep.4 to 6) [Review]

Capture Lover, despite being slow-paced in the initial episodes, is picking up speed. The old adage of “Opposites Attract” comes into play as Ying Jiaming’s mischievous demeanor suddenly turns flirtatious. Ding Junjie is left flustered at times and overwhelmed at others. Certain scenes might seem lacking, but the chemistry between the main leads shines through, and you can’t help adore them.

Stage Of Love The Series – Giai đoạn của tình yêu: bộ – Episode 3 [Review]

SOL – “Stage of Love the Series” is currently infused with obvious fascination, incoherent fangirling, and jealousy. The story is picking up speed as our main leads are getting a little closer in comfort. We still haven’t devolved into the mystery of the “Accident,” but at least Nguyen’s stubbornness is finally wearing off. Let’s dive in and review Episode 3.
